Business Wireless Environment Assessment: know every line, account, and next step.

A paid, carrier-neutral review of business mobile lines, bills, devices and account ownership. Establish a documented baseline and a practical plan before authorizing changes.

Full WEA from $750 for 5–15 lines, with complexity surcharges. For 1–4 lines, the limited Account Review is $295. Final scope and fees are confirmed in writing.

5–15 wireless lines

Wireless Environment Assessment

Starting at $750

A comprehensive assessment of your wireless environment, with documented findings and an implementation roadmap. Complexity surcharges reflect additional documented work; larger environments are scoped separately.

1–4 wireless lines

Account Review

$295

A limited review of one business wireless account, its lines, plans, features and possible billing exceptions. This is a smaller entry offer; implementation requires separate scope and authorization.

The paid review or assessment is the required first step before implementation or Managed Wireless. You can act on the findings internally or authorize separate follow-on work.

What shapes the final assessment fee?
  • Locations and site-level work
  • Carrier environments
  • Billing accounts and legal entities
  • Inventory reliability
  • Device diversity
  • Account ownership and access
  • Financial and contract complexity
  • Mobile security requirements
  • Operational criticality
  • Reporting and stakeholder needs
Payment and delivery terms

Assessments begin with written scope approval. Fees of $1,000 or less are payable before work begins; larger engagements ordinarily require a 50% deposit and a 50% balance upon delivery. Final pricing depends on verified line count and documented complexity; no savings are guaranteed.

Delivery occurs when the QA-approved final package is made available and written notice is issued. The delivery version and timestamp are recorded; a review meeting is not a condition of delivery. Material omissions may be reported within five business days.

What is reviewed

The current wireless environment, line by line.

  • Account and billing ownership: who is responsible and who has authorized access
  • Active wireless lines, assigned employees, devices, and locations

  • Charges, installments, credits, and discounts shown on available bills
  • Inactive or unassigned services and inconsistent records
  • Upgrade, contract, and number-transfer considerations
  • Current approval processes, policies, and security-related requirements
  • Information gaps and items requiring carrier or client verification
What the organization receives

Documented findings and a path forward.

  • Documented wireless environment profile and line-level inventory
  • Ownership and account-access overview
  • Billing and operational exception register, with verified and unverified items distinguished

  • Financial impact estimates where supporting data allows
  • Practical implementation roadmap with actions, owners, and dependencies
  • Findings presentation and a written next-step summary
Getting started

Prepare what you have. We’ll document the gaps.

You do not need a perfect inventory to begin. These records help confirm the scope; missing assignments, bills or account permissions can be documented as findings.

01

Recent wireless bills

Carrier statements and account summaries available to your team. We confirm the billing periods and accounts in scope before requesting records.

02

Known users and devices

Any existing line list, device register, employee assignments, locations, or cost-center breakdown. Incomplete records are an assessment finding, not a reason to avoid the conversation.

03

Account authority and objectives

A designated decision-maker, the individuals authorized to access carrier accounts, and the decisions or problems the assessment should resolve. Do not send passwords through public forms.

Examples include unassigned business phone lines, credits that may not appear on invoices, unclear account administrator permissions and device refresh timing. These are possible review areas, not assumed findings or guaranteed savings.

Assessment questions

Understand the scope before committing.

The 15-Minute Discovery Call helps confirm fit. Every paid review is separately scoped and authorized in writing.

What is the 15-Minute Discovery Call?

It is an initial conversation to understand your wireless environment, priorities and the appropriate next step. There is no charge for the call. Account Reviews and Wireless Environment Assessments are separate paid engagements with written scope, findings and recommendations.

How much does a business wireless assessment cost?

A full Wireless Environment Assessment starts at $750 for a standard 5–15-line environment. Additional lines, multiple billing accounts, missing inventories, specialized devices, and other documented work can change the written quote. Businesses with 1–4 lines can start with the limited $295 Account Review.

Does the WEA include implementation or changing carrier services?

No. The assessment produces findings and a prioritized implementation plan. Any carrier changes, device deployment, governance work, or ongoing management require separate scope and authorization.

What if we have multiple offices, carriers, or incomplete records?

That is precisely why an environment assessment can be useful. Complexity pricing reflects the additional review actually required, not the number of locations alone. We document information gaps and scope boundaries before work begins.

Do we need to share account passwords?

No passwords should be provided through the public website or discovery-call form. We establish account ownership, authorized access, and secure information-sharing procedures as part of the engagement.

Will Decoded guarantee savings on our wireless bill?

No. The assessment identifies supported opportunities, risks, and priorities. Actual bill changes depend on your accounts, contracts, carrier decisions, and any implementation you approve.
